The accumulated knowledge of our owner Michael Yankee, combined with a team of experienced machine operators and engineers forms the Yankee Screw Products advantage.
The Yankee beginning started in a barn on a small Michigan farm in early 1900’s. In the beginning there were two companies working simultaneously, Yankee Screw Products and Yankee Manufacturing Company. Yankee Manufacturing made the Yankee Clipper fishing rod, a famous brand still known today by fly fisherman. Yankee manufacturing was ahead of its time, developing a bike lights featuring a rotary wheel transformer, as well as a children’s metal water pistol. In the late 50’s the economy changed and Yankee put all of its innovation & efforts into Yankee Screw Products.
